ARTZ Philadelphia : Board Members
Susan Brown serves as the Constituent Advocate for the ARTZ Philadelphia Board, while continuing in her role as one of our most dedicated volunteers.
For the last fifteen years, she has facilitated fine arts, crafts and quilting experiences for seniors living with dementia. In 2006, she began volunteering for “Memories in the Making” (MIM), a watercolor program sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. When not volunteering for ARTZ Philly or for MIM, Sue delights in leading her own art programs for people with memory loss, always promoting the power of art to “transform lives and give joy.”
André Harrell serves as Chair for the ARTZ Philadelphia Board.
He is President/CEO of AH2 & Beyond Consulting, a global management consulting company based in the Philadelphia area that concentrates inside the pharmaceutical and consumer products industry. André has amassed close to 30 years of experience in commercial operations leadership, primarily in the healthcare sector, and has held a number of key executive leadership positions with fortune 100 companies including Johnson & Johnson Inc, and Bristol Myers Squibb. As serious as all of that sounds, André’s beaming smile and sense of humor are as great assets to us as his stellar background.
Molly Sahner serves as Secretary for the ARTZ Philadelphia Board.
She is the Program Coordinator at the Wesley Enhanced Living, Doylestown care community. Molly notes that she wants to live in a world where creative expression is understood as human instinct and opportunities to enjoy art are available cradle to grave. As an Emmy award-winning artist, she has worked with Elmo, Big Bird and the Philadelphia Eagles. Best of all, Molly has the time of her life making art with seniors. She’s painted, glued and sculpted with folks up to 104 years of age and is looking to beat this record.
