Tamara Johns

Tamara Johns joined the ARTZ Philadelphia Board in 2025.

Tamara is a Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Dementia Practitioner and owner of CarePatrol of Philadelphia, Mercer and Burlington. Since 2013, Tamara has helped over a thousand seniors and their families navigate the complexities of senior healthcare to find safe care options and other related resources. She is driven by her love for helping people and enhancing the quality of life for older adults. She is a founding board member of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Placement and Referral Alliance, and she volunteers on the Moorestown Township Recreation Department Advisory Committee as the advocate for Senior programs.

Prior to CarePatrol, Tamara’s work experience included brand management for a consumer packaged goods company, audit practice for a public accounting firm, corporate internal audit and ownership of several businesses. She has an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. She thrives on approaching business challenges with innovative strategies and creativity. When Tamara is not working, she spends much of her time painting abstract art with acrylic on canvas.
