Shane Farrell

Shane Farrell is the Director of Programs at ARTZ Philadelphia. He joined the organization in April 2021.

Shane is an artist, educator, and digital technology specialist. He received his master’s degree in art from the University at Buffalo and taught digital art and cultural history courses there and at Pace University. Shane came to us from the Free Library of Philadelphia, where he helped make rare books and artworks accessible to the public and developed programs helping older adults to use computers and the internet. Shane is passionate about using technology to create connections and amplify under-represented voices.

He is excited to join ARTZ Philadelphia in making the world into a more accessible and inclusive place through experiences around art that emphasize joy and connection.
