About the Event
Join us Monday November 20th at 1:00 pm (ET) for our Dementia Unplugged: Artful Insights program. After you register, we will send you the Zoom link and instructions.
Join us for a virtual visit to the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art. As a learning focused museum, the Eskenazi encourages active learning through direct engagement with art from a wide-ranging collection, which spans nearly every art-producing culture throughout history. As the first university museum in the country with an art therapist, the museum aims to encourage the practice and study of museums, art therapy, and wellness in reaching diverse audiences. The Eskenazi runs a broad range of art therapy programs, including a series designed especially for people living with dementia and their care partners.
Artful Insights is a monthly program brought to you as part of the Dementia Society’s series of online offerings for people living with dementia and their care partners, “Dementia Unplugged,” and hosted by ARTZ Philadelphia.
We invite you to join us each month for a warm, welcoming and light-hearted series of conversations around visual works of art from museums across the United States.
If bookings are closed but you’d still like to join, please contact Shane Farrell : farrell@artzphilly.org
