About the Event

Join us April 2nd at 1:00 pm (ET) for an in-person ARTZ @ The Museum program. After you register, we will send you information and instructions.

Please note: Due to the current COVID surge, masks are currently required at all indoor in-person programs. Because your and our other program participants’ health is our priority, we can not make exceptions to this policy. Please bring a mask for you and everyone in your party (preferably an N95 or KN95 if possible). We will provide extra masks on site if necessary.

ARTZ @ The Museum is an informal, no-obligation program that offers weekly opportunities to join with others in museums and art centers around the Greater Philadelphia area. It all starts with the art: we look together at 2-3 works of art during an hour of group conversation. Groups are limited in size to 6-8 visitors with dementia plus their care partners to ensure an intimate and comfortable experience for everyone.

Renowned for its holdings of the Wyeth family of artists, the Brandywine Museum of Art features galleries dedicated to the work of N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth. The Museum’s outstanding Brandywine Collection is a cross-section of American art, with a special focus on artistic practice in the Brandywine Valley. Nineteenth- and twentieth-century landscape paintings testify to the beauty that drew well-known artists to the area. Important portraits, still life paintings and notable holdings in American illustration add diversity and breadth to this unique collection.

Admission is free with RSVP:

But we ask that you make your reservation(s) as early as possible. We keep our programs small and intimate in scale so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Reservations are first come, first served:

Accessibility, transit and parking:

The entire museum is wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms, water fountains and the Millstone Café.

Accessible parking for vehicles displaying the appropriate disability permits is located in the central section of the parking lot, closest to the Museum’s courtyard entrance, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The courtyard now provides a designated barrier-free entrance into the Museum.

There is no public transit to the museum. For driving directions, visit https://www.brandywine.org/museum/visit/directions
