Madelyne Groves

Madelyne Groves is the Community Liaison for “ARTZ in the Neighborhood,” a community-directed Program Development project in the Hunting Park neighborhood of Philadelphia. She joined ARTZ Philadelphia in August of 2018. Madelyne is a professional care provider and the primary care partner for her mother. She provides love and support to a growing group of elders living with dementia in the Hunting Park neighborhood of Philadelphia, a neighborhood that has historically endured inadequate medical care and related services. Madelyne is bilingual, our go-to Spanish-English interpreter for all of our meetings and programs in the Spanish-speaking communities in Hunting Park and beyond. Together with the Hunting Park community advisory board, Madelyne developed our Café Para Dos program in which community members Living with dementia come together with their care partners to experience creative engagement and joy.
