ARTZ Board Member Yael Tacher Recognized for Outstanding Work On “Build Latino”
ARTZ Board Member Yael Tacher has been included in the City & State Pennsylvania Construction Power 75 list for her work with Build Latino. The Power 75 list “identifies the leading builders, contractors, public officials, construction managers, consultants, lawyers and advocates who are building – and rebuilding – the commonwealth.”
City and State Pennsylvania had this to say about Yael’s important work empowering women- and minority-owned businesses in the construction industry:
Yael Tacher runs one of the more innovative programs devoted to improving the prospects of minority- and women-owned businesses to win contracts in both the public and private sectors. As coordinator of programs for the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Tacher runs the organization’s Build Latino initiative, which helps small businesses in the construction industry learn and master the process, as well as connect them with industry leaders in contracts, project management, finance and accounting.
