About the Event

Join us December 5th at 10:00 am (ET) for a joy-filled session in-person at Reading Public Museum! After you register, we will send you information and instructions.

Please note: Due to the current COVID surge, masks are currently required at all indoor in-person programs. Because your and our other program participants’ health is our priority, we can not make exceptions to this policy. Please bring a mask for you and everyone in your party (preferably an N95 or KN95 if possible). We will provide extra masks on site if necessary.

We’re very excited to announce a new ARTZ @ The Museum program with The Reading Public Museum! Join us for our very first session.

ARTZ @ The Museum is an informal, no-obligation program that offers weekly opportunities to join with others in museums and art centers around the Greater Philadelphia area. It all starts with the art: we look together at 2-3 works of art during an hour of group conversation. Groups are limited in size to 6-8 visitors with dementia plus their care partners to ensure an intimate and comfortable experience for everyone.

Admission is free with RSVP!

But we ask that you make your reservation(s) as early as possible. We keep our programs small and intimate in scale so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Reservations are first come, first served.

Accessibility, transit and parking:

Free parking is available in the lot between The Museum and the Neag Planetarium. Please use either the Museum Road main entrance or the Parkside Drive South entrance.

RPM is ADA Accessible and entrance ramps are accessible at both buildings. The Museum offers wheelchairs free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Admissions desk. All floors of The Museum are accessible by elevator, and bench seating is available throughout the galleries. There are accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain on the Ground floor.

The Museum is a short, scenic walk from several different BARTA bus stops.
