Join us this month for a virtual visit to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, MA. Opened in 1903 for the education and enjoyment of the public, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum brings art and community together. Isabella Stewart Gardner (1840–1924) collected and carefully displayed a collection of fine and decorative art from Ancient Rome, Medieval Europe, Renaissance Italy, Asia, the Islamic world, and 19th-century France and America, alongside rare books and archival materials. Modeled after a Venetian palazzo, the galleries contain paintings by many of history’s greatest artists – like Rembrandt, Raphael, Titian, Botticelli, and John Singer Sargent. A vibrant, blooming courtyard, located at the heart of the Museum, changes with the seasons. The Museum’s Renzo Piano Wing, built in 2012, provides space for special exhibitions and programming.

Artful Insights is a monthly program brought to you as part of the Dementia Society’s series of online offerings for people living with dementia and their care partners, “Dementia Unplugged,” and hosted by ARTZ Philadelphia.

We invite you to join us each month for a warm, welcoming and light-hearted series of conversations around visual works of art from museums across the United States.
